D-VITAL PLUS is a vitality-enhancing flake food with special nutritive and fortifying properties, recommended for adolescent discus intended for breeding stock and for adult pairs being conditioned to spawn. The formulation of this food is based on a high content of nutrients that influence metabolism and reproduction. Lecithin (from egg yolk) and vitamin E stimulate breeding and the production of the mucus on which young discus feed. Vitamin B1 and magnesium alleviate stress and nervousness, helping to minimise egg- and larvae-cannibalism. Proteins and a complete range of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and valuable L-carnitine (for effective metabolising of lipids) provide a source of abundant energy and vitality during the spawning period and the rearing of fry. Due to its special properties D-VITAL PLUS is recommended for regular feeding of professionally bred discus.
